The Swiss wine industry needed an overhaul (nobody knew Swiss wine existed, for a start) so they asked Winkreative branding agency to give them a revamp including a new visual identity. I wrote all the copy (plus headlines and standfirsts, etc.) for a 12-page broadsheet that was handed out to the press when the new image was unveiled.

Sample text: Like the mountains it’s famous for, Valais towers over Switzerland’s wine-growing regions. A third of the country’s wine is produced from its 5,200  hectares of vineyards but, this being Switzerland, it’s no monolithic monoculture. There are 20,000 plots and 700 wineries, so the diversity of this region’s wine industry easily matches its size. The Valais is a region of contrasts. It has glaciers and palm trees, saffron and cheese, Chassalas and Savagnin. Its vineyards are heavily influenced by the contours of the Alpine valley – most vines grow in steep slopes.
